5052 is Al-Mg series rust proof aluminum alloy, can not be strengthened by heat treating, the chemical composition of precision 5052 aluminum block is similar to that of 5A02 alloy, and the properties are basically the same as those of 5A02. When Machining 5052 aluminum, it is found that the plasticity of the material is higher, but the strength is lower. the corrosion resistance and weldability of the material are good. The machinability of precision 5052 aluminum block is poor in the annealed state.
