Compared with common CNC Machining technology, Turning-Milling compound Machining has the characteristics of centralized process and complex programming. In order to give full play to the function of turning and milling center, we should process as much as possible on a machine tool, and arrange the parts with high precision of size and position in a single clamp as far as possible.
In Turning-Milling process, three aspects should be considered: tool sequence arrangement, tool selection and clamping mode selection. Reasonable machining sequence arrangement can reduce part deformation and ensure machining accuracy. Reasonable tool selection can effectively improve machining efficiency and quality. Appropriate clamping mode selection can make clamping firm, reduce clamping times and facilitate programming.
The combination of Turning-Milling machine tool and common machine tool is beneficial to reduce the machining cost and improve the efficiency. The clamping surface and positioning base surface can be arranged on ordinary machine tool for machining. Rough machining with high power and torque requirements and machining with low precision requirements should be arranged on ordinary machine tool or common numerical control machine tool for machining, so as to make full use of it. Give full play to the advantages of key equipment in difficult machining and accuracy, and improve the value of equipment utilization. At the same time, because of the special technology of ultrasonic flaw detection, stress relief, quenching and heat treatment, it is impossible to realize the machining idea of once clamping and complete machining.
Compared with the conventional CNC machining technology, the outstanding advantages of Turning-Milling compound machine tool and Turning-Milling compound machining are mainly manifested in the following aspects:
(1) To shorten the manufacturing process chain and improve production efficiency. Turning-milling compound machine tool can install a variety of special tools, new tool layout, reduce tool change time, improve machining efficiency. Turning-milling combined machining can complete all or most of the machining processes in one clamp, thus greatly shortening the product manufacturing process chain. In this way, on the one hand, the production assistant time caused by the change of fixture is reduced, on the other hand, the manufacturing cycle and waiting time of fixture are also reduced, which can significantly improve the production efficiency.
(2) Reduce clamping times and improve machining accuracy. The reduction of loading times avoids the accumulation of errors caused by the transformation of positioning datum. At the same time, most of the current Turning-Milling machine tools have the function of on-line detection, which can realize in-situ detection and precision control of key data in manufacturing process, thereby improving the machining accuracy of products; the high-strength integrated bed design improves the ability of gravity machining for difficult-cutting materials; the machine is equipped with automatic feeding device, which can realize automatic feeding continuously and basically realize single feeding.
