CNC Machining Method for Parts with Different Cross Sections

1 CNC Machining method for special-shaped cross-section parts
There are usually three ways to process special-shaped cross-section parts: ① direct forming methods, such as casting, forging, stamping, etc.; ② cutting motion synthesis
Methods, such as turning, milling, planing, grinding, etc.; ③Special processing methods, such as wire cutting, electric spark, laser processing, etc. Among them, the direct forming method is the main forming method for special-shaped cross-section parts, but due to its low manufacturing accuracy and large surface roughness value, it cannot meet the finishing requirements of special-shaped cross-section parts. The special processing method is limited in its application due to its low efficiency, high cost and inability to process non-circular cross-section parts with complex axial cross-sections. Therefore, the kinematic synthesis cutting process is the main way to obtain high-precision special-shaped cross-section parts. Turning, milling, planing, grinding, etc. are the most common kinematics synthetic cutting processing methods, all of which can process different complex-shaped parts. Among these methods, milling and planing are currently difficult to obtain high Machining accuracy. Grinding is a commonly used precision machining method and has high production efficiency. However, ordinary grinding is due to the large negative rake angle of the abrasive particles of the grinding wheel, small cutting thickness, easy passivation of abrasive particles, easy chipping of the grinding wheel, and grinding temperature Its application is subject to certain restrictions for reasons such as high grinding force, high grinding force, and difficulty in grinding workpieces with large curvature changes. Precision turning is a precision machining technology that has developed rapidly in recent years. Especially with the wide application of empty machine tools and diamond tools, the machining accuracy and processing efficiency of precision turning have been greatly improved.

CNC machining of special-shaped parts

The turning processing methods of special-shaped section parts mainly include: ①Mechanical motion synthesis method, that is, through the multi-directional motion synthesis of the mechanism to generate the turning motion track of the special-shaped section; ②By imitating the shape processing method, that is, the use of a master model to control the turning tool and the workpiece The relative motion trajectory forms the required workpiece shape; ③CNC Turning method, that is, the CNC lathe uses program instructions to control the machine tool, so that the machine tool automatically completes the specified processing process. Among them, the numerical control turning method has high production efficiency and processing accuracy, and stable quality.
